I’m Sam. Owner, operator, founder of all things Ernst & Co. I wouldn’t necessarily say I’m the brain behind things, but I am the eye - and that’s a good start. I’ve been doing this for ten years (holy eff) and turned my side hustle into full time back in 2018. Since then over 150 couples have graced my lens, alongside some of the cutest families the area has to offer.
I rock the F-bomb like I’m a trucker; I’ll shot gun a beer with you at your session (even tho I’m not that good at it anymore) and I’m allwwwaayysss down for a tequila shot. I’ll take ya to some pretty rad places but if we encounter a spider Imma scream and cry and probably fall into the fetal position like a little bitch.
I’m a mom of three. Dog owner of one, fish owner of 4 asshole goldfish that a certain child promised to take care of but hasn’t (lol) and married to the biggest pain in the ass this life has to offer. My husband and I have been together for over a decade, and although he’s the one who makes me want to pull my hair out the most - he’s my biggest cheerleader, best friend and most amazing dad this side of the planet.
I’m your professional bridesmaid with a couple of cameras attached to her hips.. literally - I’m basically tomb raider in a less badassy outfit. I’m your hype woman, wedding party tamer and worst dancer on your dance floor.

I grew up on the shores of the St. Lawrence River and behind the saddle of horses. Even though I always found beauty in my surroundings, it wasn’t until my 20’s that I found that photography feeds my soul.
I’m a mother of two, wife to the most wonderful man and dog owner to the smallest of beasts. When we’re not camping with our two girls or heading out on long walks with our pups, you can find me with a big cup of Joe and cuddling on the couch watching the office.
When Sam brought me on with Ernst & Co. I never dreamed that I would be meeting so many amazing couples and capturing their lives' biggest moments. And after the last few amazing years, I’ve taken the grand step to have photography be my full time gig! I am so excited to be able to spend more time with my family and capture the sweetest moments that you and yours are experiencing as well!
